With their many millions in the bank, Serena Williams and her Reddit co-founder husband Alexis Ohanian hardly had to count the pennies when it came to hosting their fairytale wedding.
But the wallet-friendly pair still did not pass up an opportunity to cash in on the big event and snag a couple of freebies along the way.
Among them was a $1.5million mansion in New Orleans historic quarter where Serena is staying along with her gaggle of her bridesmaids.
On Saturday, once the dust had settled from the glittering ceremony and reception on Thursday, the tennis supremo took fans inside the home on Instagram and gave its supplier a generous number of shout-outs.

In an Instagram video posted on Saturday, Serena Williams plugged HomeAway for lending her an eight-bedroom mansion in New Orleans for her wedding week, including the mandatory commissioned post caveat ‘#ad’
In a somewhat repetitive commentary, she gushed over the ‘cool’ and ‘perfect’ pad, all the while thanking the rental company which paid her to stay there
With a prominent plug for HomeAway, the Airbnb-like rentals website which gave her the property and commissioned the post, written on the screen along with the mandatory ‘#ad’, Serena filmed herself inside the ‘perfect’ home.
In an ever-so-slightly repetitive spiel about the house, she said: ‘So this is my HomeAway home, these are my bridesmaids.
‘It’s so cool cause we have a house next door as well. I’m obsessed with old houses, look how cool this is. I love the paint.
‘I love old architecture. It’s just something so warm. This is my perfect HomeAway home. So cool.
‘Oh here are some bridesmaids dress! There’s a bridesmaid! I love this house!
‘Is this the most gorgeous home you’ve ever seen? It’s so perfect. I absolutely love it.’

Welcome home! The ornate glass and wooden front door opens on to the first of many lounging areas throughout the house
Books are scattered throughout the property along with plants and soft furnishings
The living room which Serena showed guests features orange velvet sofas, opulent gold finishes and pricey artwork
In another drawing room is more luxurious furniture including leather seats and sofas and intricate chandeliers
The eclectically decorated kitchen and dining room features a huge dining table with enough room for 25 people
A breakfast bar in the kitchen equipped with bar stools sits beneath low-hanging lights. This is where Serena’s guests relaxed in her video
Room for everyone: The main house has seven bedrooms and there is a one-bedroom cottage on site with room in the main dining area for everyone to chow down
As she spoke, she gave fans glimpses of the velvet sofas, wooden floors and pricey artwork inside the Esplanade Avenue abode.
‘I know it’s dark but it’s so cool because I am, next door is where everyone is staying. hair and makeup and some of my bride’s people. It’s all this HomeAway. It’s so amazing,’ she signed off suddenly.
DailyMail.com can reveal that the property is a $1,,250-a-night, eight-bedroom estate which sleeps 25.
The house was built in the 1880s. It is run by a busy New Orleans-based property manager.
HomeAway would not reveal how much it paid Serena for the post which will disappear within 24 hours unless she removes it first.
It was not the only brand infusion of the weekend – at a post-wedding brunch on Friday, guests were seen sipping on refreshments at Gatorade sponsored stand.
With countless sport endorsements under her belt, it’s little surprise the mother-of-one would miss the business opportunity at hand.

On Saturday, shortly after posting her video, Serena was seen boarding a private jet with her new husband and their daughter to be whisked away on honeymoon

After Thursday night’s star-studded ceremony, the wedding party decamped to the Ace Hotel on Friday for a post-wedding brunch which lasted all day.
Vogue had exclusive rights to the photographs of the wedding and its editor Anna Wintour was among party guests. It is unlikely the fashion bible paid for the rights.
Williams wore a custom Alexander McQueen gown created by the fashion house’s head Sarah Burton.
Burton’s name is synonymous with the palatial gown she created for Kate Middleton for her wedding to Prince William in 2011.
On Friday, the couple carried on the party with a post wedding brunch at the Ace Hotel where they were pictured laughing and joking with guests

Serena is worth an estimated $27million and her new husband is said to have made $9million from the sale of his enormously popular website.
The pair celebrated their two-month-old daughter Alexis Jr.
On Saturday, not long after posting her video, Serena and Alexis Snr. were seen boarding a private jet to be taken on their honeymoon with Alexis Jr. in tow.
It is not known where the newlyweds will spend their first few weeks as a married couple.
